Our instructors and coaches are the best! Our staff is trained in stroke progressions and teaching techniques by Weiss & Weiss Swimming Instruction System (WWSIS) and certified in American Red Cross First Aid and CPR.
Our coaching team is exceptional. We work with humor, heart, and expert knowledge.

WAWA Programs are different from other teams in several significant areas.

We value technique and a powerful training base over sloppy repetition and mindless hammer sets. If you're not doing it right, we don't want to watch you swim for 5000 yards!

History and Philosophy

Kirsten and Bridget Weiss founded WEISS & WEISS AQUATICS in 1991.

We have been teaching, coaching, and developing
programs in Austin for over 25 years.
WAWA offers swimming instruction for all ages and
abilities on a year-round basis.
We believe in fitness as a lifestyle, the benefits of
exercise and the need for continuing education
within the sport.
We build self-confidence and self esteem through
the sport of swimming.
We encourage our athletes to be healthy and fit both
mentally and physically.
Our programs promote interaction and support in
the community. As a result, we have many long-term
relationships with clients, their friends and family.

Community Service

WAWA donates time and services to many Austin area charities,
fund-raisers, and not-for-profit organizations every year.
